Standing as a poignant reminder of the Steam Age, the Clock Tower in Tsim Sha Tsui is one of Hong Kong’s most iconic historic landmarks. Erected in 1915, this 44-metre red brick and granite structure is the sole remnant of the original Kowloon-Canton Railway terminus. Declared a statutory monument, it serves as a nostalgic elegant sentinel on the waterfront. Visitors are drawn to its architectural grace and its significance as a gateway for millions of Chinese immigrants who once passed through here to begin new lives. Today, it offers a perfect vantage point for the Victoria Harbour skyline and the nightly Symphony of Lights.
